   The group is doing the song Crazy in Love by Beyoncé. We watched the music video for this song, other Beyonce songs, and songs that capture the same feeling. After conducting this research we knew what ideas to input in our music video. When discussing costumes we knew we wanted to be in formal, lavish dresses, for part of the song.   Faith and Riana are going to be group partners for this project. When the class first begun it was just me Faith and Jaylen.  Once Jaylen left the class we actually spoke to other people, that being the introduction of Riana.   To start my name is Janiya Amani McCoy.  I’ve been attending Fort Lauderdale High school for three years now, this being my junior year.  I am originally from the Nassau, Bahamas; I moved from there when I was seven years old. I’m a major theatre kid, I love everything about musical theatre it is just perfect.  When I graduate my goal is to attend New York University; it is my dream school.  A couple of my hobby’s are dance, art, and reading.  I love reading it really helps you escape from reality and enter a whole new world and it’s just so enjoyable.  My favorite subject in school always was science but now being in the law program it has switched over to criminal justice.  I have a pet kitten named ash lynx, we named her after one of my favorite anime characters.   How does your product use or challenge conventions AND how does it represent social groups or issues? My project represents social groups/issues because for some people they’re computers or laptops may not work so they don’t have a liable resource where they can do all of their personal work/business.  Also people like to be able to focus on one thing and cancellation of sound cloud do that and apple has all the things that could be very resourceful to them. How does your project engage with audiences AND how would it be distributed as a real media text?  My product engages with audiences by starting off with a popular up beat song. By using a well known and widely loved song, viewers are automatically hooked and want to continue viewing.  It would be distributed as a real media text online.  This commercial would be an ad played on YouTube videos.  Looking back this was a really fun project to do.  My group pulled through every step of the way I knew I had had a team and that they had my backs.  This was a super fun experience with the girls filing from behind the camera while also being apart of the production was very intriguing because I got to feel what it is to be in front and behind the camera.  Shooting many times to get the right shot and re taking the scenes so that it was perfect was an amazing experience and I am very satisfied with our commercial. 

 Today I went over the clips we all took together and I picked out the ones that were best fitted and fit the time stamp.  I also noticed in the videos one of the angles were off so I suggested for us to go re film the clip.  I worked from behind the camera this time, I filmed from three different angles this time.  It didn’t take me much time to film and get back to the class to work on editing.  I was missing one person from my group they weren’t here today so we had to work without them. I got through editing the beginning  part of the clips we had. I decide to figure out what song could go over our commercial and match the vibe while still be relevant to the topic of choice.
